• Garage registration and listing management

SpecialistLink makes reasonable efforts to verify that listed garages have confirmed DSR portal access at the time of listing. However:

• We do not guarantee the ongoing accuracy of any listing. Garage capabilities may change.
• We are not party to any transaction between a user and a listed garage.
• We are not responsible for the quality of work performed by any listed garage.
• Reviews and ratings reflect the opinions of their authors and do not represent SpecialistLink's views.

We reserve the right to remove or suspend listings at any time for any reason, including but not limited to failure to maintain DSR capability, user complaints, or conduct that breaches these terms.

The SpecialistLink Service Advisor is powered by artificial intelligence and provides maintenance guidance based on publicly available automotive information. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated responses are for informational and guidance purposes only.
• Responses should not be treated as professional mechanical or legal advice.
• Pricing estimates are indicative and based on typical UK market data. Actual costs will vary.
• SpecialistLink is not liable for any decisions made based on AI-generated content.
• You should always have safety-critical repairs assessed by a qualified mechanic before driving.

MOT history data is retrieved from the DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) public API. We make this data available "as-is" and provide no warranty as to its accuracy, completeness, or currency.

• MOT records reflect historical test results and do not indicate current vehicle condition.
• Advisory notices may or may not have been rectified since the recorded test date.
• SpecialistLink is not responsible for the accuracy of DVSA data.

You agree not to use SpecialistLink to:

• Submit false, misleading, or defamatory garage reviews.
• Attempt to access systems or data you are not authorised to access.
• Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or mirror our directory.
• Submit malicious, offensive, or illegal content.
• Misrepresent your identity or business capabilities in a garage registration.

All content on SpecialistLink, including text, design, code, branding, and compiled data, is the intellectual property of SpecialistLink or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit written permission.

Garage owners retain ownership of their own business information but grant SpecialistLink a non-exclusive licence to display that information on the platform for the duration of their listing.

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, SpecialistLink shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services.
• Loss of data, revenue, or business arising from reliance on directory listings or AI-generated content.
• Mechanical issues, incorrect repairs, or accidents resulting from following advice provided by listed garages or AI tools.
• Temporary unavailability of our services.

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
